This book talks about everything that is involved in making spinnerbaits, jigs, buzzerbaits and buzzer spinnerbaits, weighted and non-weighted inline spinners, pouring jigs and spinnerbaits, dressing spinnerbaits and a lot more.

The author explains everything into the finest details and where it is required he enhances his ideas with fishing stories. This book contains a lot of drawings that explain some of the things that the author talks about in his book. This book is fun to read and it has a clear structure. The vocabulary list and the 3-page long list of stores that sell lurebuilding components is most welcome.

Even though the author focuses on fishing for bass, you can easily apply these ideas and thoughts to pike fishing or even musky fishing. He talks about small lures but if you "Think Big" with the same ideas, you'll be able to make larger versions without a problem.

It's really a must for anyone who is interested in making their own spinnerbaits and jigs using molds. The only disadvantage to this book is the fact that the author doesn't use pictures at all. It doesn't bother the reader too much. Luckily you can send for catalogs from the many online stores and in those catalogs you'll be able to find pictures of all the materials that the author talks about in this book. It's really a must-have and a very specialised book!
